Description
The Tigre REDD+ project, located in the Indigenous Reserve of the Sikuani community aims to contribute to the community's sustainable development while preserving the existing forests in the territory of the Reserve. It seeks to conserve the forest through investments that strengthen the community's territorial governance and investments for the establishment of sustainable productive activities compatible with nature that will contribute to food security and the generation of surpluses while monitoring and protecting biodiversity. The El Tigre Indigenous Reservation has an area of 47,064 hectares of which 14,169 hectares are forests.
